How to set up the ExpressVPN Keys Chrome browser extension

This guide will show you how to set up the ExpressVPN Keys Chrome browser extension (ExpressVPN’s password manager). The ExpressVPN Keys Chrome browser extension is available to download on the Chrome Web Store. It is fully compatible with Chrome as well as Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, and Brave.

To use the extension, you must have the ExpressVPN app installed on your Windows, Mac, or Linux device, and an ExpressVPN account.

Set up the ExpressVPN Keys Chrome browser extension

1. Download the ExpressVPN Keys browser extension

1. On Chrome, Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, or Brave, visit the ExpressVPN Keys browser extension download page.
   (If you are using Microsoft Edge, you may see Add extensions from other stores at the top. Click it, then click Allow.)
2. Click Add to [browser] > Add extension.

2. Set up the ExpressVPN Keys browser extension

1. Click the ExpressVPN Keys browser extension.
2. You may be prompted to install and activate the latest version of ExpressVPN on your Windows, Mac, or Linux device. Follow the instructions.

3. Create an ExpressVPN Keys account

1. Create a primary password. Learn how to create a strong one.
2. Save the recovery code in a safe place. You will need it to access your password manager if you lose your primary password.
3. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your email.
   When you sign in to any apps or websites, the password manager will prompt you to save your login details.

If you have already set up your ExpressVPN Keys account, follow these steps to install ExpressVPN Keys on all your devices:

1. On another device, install ExpressVPN Keys:
   • Windows, Mac, and Linux: The ExpressVPN Keys Chrome extension
   • Android: ExpressVPN Android app
   • iOS: ExpressVPN iOS app
2. Follow the instructions to activate the password manager.
3. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your email.
4. Unlock the password manager.
